Abstract:

The Indian construction sector is frequently chastised for its lack of creativity, inefficiency, and refusal to adopt modern construction technologies. For a very long time, not much has changed in terms of the basic technologies, techniques, and processes used in construction. It is also common knowledge that implementing innovation in the construction industry is difficult due to the unique circumstances of each project, including the location, labor availability, weather, client reluctance, and other factors. Evaluating the benefits of new technologies over current ones is necessary before introducing them to the construction sector. To identify ways and means to get over the challenges, it is also necessary to evaluate the stakeholder deterrents to accepting new technologies.
